Library Student Worker

We welcome you as a member of the student staff of Whitaker Library.  It is our hope that you will find the library to be a pleasant and friendly workplace throughout your college career. As a student employee, you will often serve as the public face of the library. 

During the course of the school year, we rely heavily on student assistants to help with such tasks as:

• Staff the front desk - checking out books and laptops
• Answer questions from students, faculty, staff, and the community
• Organize books/materials and keeping them neat and orderly
• Create attractive displays
• Process new materials
• Plan and help staff library events
